Titanium Grade 9 Pipes (DIN 3.7195 / UNS R56320), or Ti-3Al-2.5V, contain 3% aluminum, 2.5% vanadium, and the balance titanium, along with iron (max 0.25%) and oxygen (max 0.15%) as traces. These pipes show superior mechanical behavior, with a tensile strength of ~620 MPa, a yield strength of 483 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. Their density of 4.48 g/cm³ provides them with a superior strength-to-weight ratio, making them suitable for structural applications where lightness is essential.
