Titanium Grade 8 Pipes (UNS R54810 / ASTM B862) consist of 89–94% titanium, alloyed with 0.25–0.40% palladium, 0.15–0.40% iron, and 0.20–0.40% oxygen. Addition of palladium greatly improves corrosion resistance in acidic and reducing conditions. These pipes offer superior mechanical performance with tensile strength of ~620 MPa, yield strength of 480 MPa, and elongation of 15–20%. Their density of 4.51 g/cm³ gives them an improved strength-to-weight ratio, which is perfect for high–stress, weight–sensitive applications. Their strength, corrosion resistance, and formability make them dependable in harsh industrial applications.
