Waspaloy is a precipitation-hardening nickel-based superalloy made up of about 58% nickel, 19% chromium, 13% cobalt, 4.3% molybdenum, 3% titanium, and 1.4% aluminum. These elements work together to provide outstanding oxidation resistance and creep strength at temperatures between 870 and 980°C. Its mechanical properties boast tensile strength reaching up to 1,000 MPa, yield strength around 700 MPa, and impressive fatigue resistance. Waspaloy sheets and plates are perfect for forming and machining in controlled conditions, ensuring reliable long-term performance in environments where thermal and mechanical stresses are both intense and continuous.
