Titanium Grade 2 Wire is made up of 99% commercially pure titanium, with iron and oxygen in traces that improve its mechanical strength. It has good corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chloride environments, and exhibits superior weldability. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of 345 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of 20%, guaranteeing durability under stress. Having a low density of 4.51 g/cm³, it offers a good strength-to-weight ratio, thus being appropriate for use in areas where strength and lightness are required, like in aerospace and medical applications.
