Titanium Grade 2 is a commercially pure, unalloyed titanium that contains 99.2% titanium and trace amounts of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, and iron. It provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, especially in environments that are oxidising and mildly reducing. Tensile strength of approximately 345 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of approximately 20% are among the mechanical characteristics.
