Super Duplex Steel Wire, typically made from UNS S32750 or S32760, boasts a composition of around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and 0.2–0.3% nitrogen. This unique dual-phase alloy achieves a tensile strength exceeding 800 MPa and offers remarkable corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) over 40, it’s perfectly suited for chloride-rich environments. Additionally, Super Duplex wire is known for its excellent weldability, durability, and resistance to erosion, even under high pressure and temperature, making it an ideal choice for high-performance structural and functional applications.
