Super Duplex Steel Screws consist of around 25% Chromium, 7% Nickel, 4% Molybdenum, and Nitrogen added for added strength. This equal chemical composition leads to a two-phase (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure, characterized by high tensile and yield strength, coupled with high toughness. These screws show outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-contaminated and acidic environments. Their high-performance capabilities under high pressures and temperatures render them suitable for severe industrial use requiring both long life and corrosion resistance.
