Approximately 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, tungsten, nitrogen, and low carbon make up the austenitic-ferritic stainless steel alloy known as Super Duplex Steel S32760. Particularly in environments with a lot of chloride, it offers exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. With a yield strength of 550 MPa and a typical tensile strength of 750 MPa, the alloy has a high mechanical strength. It is appropriate for harsh environments and high-stress applications due to its exceptional fatigue resistance, good weldability, and superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
