Nickel Alloy Forged Fittings consist mainly of high-purity nickel (usually ≥99.5%), sometimes alloyed with other elements like chromium, molybdenum, iron, and copper to improve performance. These fittings have high tensile strength (400–750 MPa), better yield strength, and a high resistance to pitting, oxidation, and stress corrosion cracking. They are mechanically intact at higher temperatures and under pressure and are therefore ideal for corrosive atmospheres.
