With trace amounts of iron, copper, carbon, and manganese, Nickel Alloy 200 is a commercially available wrought nickel alloy with a minimum nickel content of 99.6%. It provides outstanding defence against reducing agents and caustic alkalis. It has a mechanical tensile strength of 462 MPa, a yield strength of 148 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 45%. It is very formable and weldable due to its low hardness and high electrical and thermal conductivity. Nickel 200 is perfect for cryogenic and moderately elevated temperature applications because it can withstand temperatures of up to 600°F (315°C) without losing its mechanical integrity.
