A commercially available wrought nickel alloy with a minimum nickel content of 99.0% is called Nickel Alloy 200. It contains trace amounts of carbon, silicon, manganese, and iron. Excellent mechanical qualities are provided by this alloy, which has an elongation of 45%, a yield strength of about 148 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 462 MPa. It has exceptional thermal and electrical conductivity, high ductility, and good resistance to alkalis.
