Monel Tubing consists mainly of about 63% nickel and 28–34% copper, with trace amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This specific alloying makes it have superior corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and acidic conditions. Mechanically, Monel Tubing has good strength, with tensile strength of up to 85 ksi and high ductility. It also has good thermal conductivity and stress corrosion cracking resistance. All these features make it suitable for harsh conditions that need strength, elasticity, and lasting longevity without sacrificing performance in chemically harsh conditions
