Monel Bars consist mainly of nickel (63%) and copper (28–34%), supplemented with minor quantities of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This alloy possesses superior tensile strength (up to 700 MPa), good ductility, and improved corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and in acidic environments. Monel Bars have good mechanical properties at high temperature and show superior stress-corrosion cracking resistance. Their non-magnetic property, together with superior oxidation resistance, makes them suitable for high-performance applications in marine, chemical, and aerospace industries needing longevity and structural stability.
