Monel 400 pipes consist of a nickel-copper alloy containing about 63% nickel and 29% copper with traces of iron, manganese, and silicon. Its composition offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater, acidic, and alkaline conditions. Monel 400 provides tensile strength of up to 550 MPa, combined with good ductility and thermal stability. Monel 400 maintains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and exhibits superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting.
