Monel 400 Coils consist of about 63% nickel and 28–34% copper, with small quantities of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. This alloy exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater, acidic, and alkaline conditions. Monel 400 is mechanically provided with good tensile strength (to 620 MPa), superior ductility, and toughness across a broad temperature range. It is resistant to stress corrosion cracking as well as oxidation and retains its properties even at high or sub-zero temperatures.
