Monel 400 Bars consist mainly of 63–70% nickel and 28–34% copper along with trace elements such as iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This alloy provides the alloy with superior corrosion resistance in various conditions of environment, especially seawater and acidic environments. Monel 400 possesses superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength between 480–620 MPa and yield strength between 170–380 MPa. It has toughness over a large temperature range and good weldability and ductility. The alloy is non-magnetic and also offers moderate thermal conductivity, hence being the preferred option for high-performance operations.
