Invar Bars are primarily made up of 64% iron and 36% nickel, which gives this alloy its distinctive low thermal expansion (~1.2 x 10⁻⁶/°C between 20–100°C). It boasts moderate tensile strength (450–620 MPa), high ductility, and exceptional dimensional stability across a broad temperature range. Invar is non-magnetic at room temperature but becomes magnetic at lower temperatures. Fajar Metals provides Invar Bars in either annealed or cold-worked conditions, featuring excellent surface finishes and precise dimensional tolerances, making them ideal for high-precision tooling, gauges, and structural applications in thermally sensitive environments.
