Inconel 718 wire is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium alloy. Its composition is 50-55% nickel, 17-21% chromium and 4.75-5.5% niobium, with traces of aluminum and titanium. Technical properties include high tensile strength up to 1,200 MPa and good tensile-fracture strength at elevated temperatures.
