Incoloy 800 series bolts are crafted from nickel-iron-chromium alloys. Incoloy 800 typically contains around 30–35% nickel, 19–23% chromium, with iron making up the rest. The 800H and 800HT variants have a bit more carbon (0.05–0.10%) and carefully controlled amounts of aluminum and titanium to enhance their strength at high temperatures. These bolts can maintain their structural integrity even at temperatures reaching 1100°C, offering excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and stress rupture. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 520 to 690 MPa and a yield strength between 205 and 300 MPa. They excel in creep resistance and thermal stability, making them ideal for securing components in extreme heat and corrosive environments.
