Haynes 188 Bar is a cobalt-based superalloy primarily made up of cobalt (~39%), nickel (22%), chromium (22%), and tungsten (14%), with a touch of lanthanum to boost stability. This remarkable alloy showcases outstanding oxidation resistance up to 1095°C (2000°F) while maintaining impressive strength even in extreme heat. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 130,000 to 150,000 psi, a yield strength of about 65,000 to 75,000 psi, and commendable creep resistance. At Fajar Metals, we ensure that all our Haynes 188 Bars meet ASTM B815 and AMS 5608 standards, guaranteeing reliable performance in both thermally and chemically challenging environments.
