Fajar Metals takes pride in offering top-notch Hastelloy N Wire, sourced and produced right in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our Hastelloy N Wire is made from a nickel-based alloy that’s specifically designed to provide outstanding corrosion resistance and thermal stability, even in the harshest environments. Renowned for its remarkable ability to withstand molten and fluoride salts, this wire finds its place in industries like nuclear energy, chemical processing, and aerospace. With a variety of diameters and lengths available, our wire adheres to international standards, making it perfect for welding, fabrication, and precision engineering projects. At Fajar Metals, we guarantee consistent quality, durability, and performance for all your demanding needs.
Hastelloy N Wire is primarily made up of about 71% Nickel, 16% Molybdenum, and 5% Iron, along with trace amounts of Chromium, Silicon, and Manganese. This unique blend gives it exceptional resistance to corrosion from molten and fluoride salts, as well as oxidation at elevated temperatures. Typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 690 to 760 MPa, yield strength between 275 and 310 MPa, and an elongation of up to 40%. The wire maintains its shape and mechanical integrity even under thermal cycling and radiation exposure, making it a perfect fit for nuclear and high-temperature chemical applications.
