Fajar Metals’ Duplex Steel Wire typically consists of about 22–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 3–3.5% molybdenum, and the rest is iron, with some nitrogen and manganese thrown in. This unique dual-phase alloy merges austenitic and ferritic structures, offering impressive strength and outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly against stress corrosion cracking and pitting. Its mechanical properties boast tensile strength ranging from 620 to 850 MPa, yield strength around 450 MPa, and an elongation of 25 to 30%. Duplex Steel Wire holds its mechanical integrity even under high stress and extreme conditions, making it a great fit for structural and corrosive applications, adhering to ASTM A276 and UNS S32205 standards.
