Duplex Steel Screws are usually made up of 22–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 3–3.5% molybdenum, along with carefully controlled amounts of nitrogen and manganese. This unique alloy composition provides outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments that are rich in chloride and acidic conditions. With a remarkable tensile strength of about 620 MPa and a yield strength of around 450 MPa, these screws are significantly stronger than typical stainless steel grades. They also boast excellent fatigue strength, minimal thermal expansion, and good weldability, making them ideal for applications that require both high strength and resilience against environmental and chemical challenges.
