Duplex Steel Check Valves are generally made from UNS S31803 or S32205 grades, which include 21–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 2.5–3.5% molybdenum, nitrogen, and iron. Their unique dual-phase austenitic-ferritic structure provides outstanding strength and resistance to corrosion. These valves showcase a tensile strength ranging from 620–880 MPa, a yield strength of about 450 MPa, and an elongation exceeding 25%. They are designed to withstand chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making them ideal for aggressive, high-pressure environments.
