Duplex Steel Ball Valves are generally produced using UNS S31803 or S32205 grades, which include 21–23% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 2.5–3.5% molybdenum, nitrogen, and the rest being iron. Their dual-phase structure (ferritic-austenitic) grants them impressive mechanical strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. These valves boast a tensile strength ranging from 620–880 MPa, a yield strength of about 450 MPa, and an elongation exceeding 25%. Duplex ball valves are resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. They perform exceptionally well under high pressure, temperature changes, and exposure to harsh chemicals, making them perfect for demanding operational settings.
