Copper Nickel Slitting Coils are mainly made up of either 90% Copper and 10% Nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10) or 70% Copper and 30% Nickel (Cu-Ni 70/30). The addition of small amounts of Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) boosts their mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. These coils provide tensile strength ranging from 275–420 MPa, yield strength between 105–180 MPa, and exhibit excellent elongation, thermal conductivity, and fabricability. With high resistance to biofouling, stress corrosion, and pitting, Cu-Ni slitting coils maintain their structural integrity in both fresh and saltwater environments, making them perfect for advanced industrial processing and marine-grade component manufacturing.
