Copper Nickel Bars are generally available in two main grades: CuNi 90/10 (90% copper, 10% nickel) and CuNi 70/30 (70% copper, 30% nickel). These alloys are known for their remarkable resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and stress corrosion cracking. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 40,000 to 65,000 psi, a yield strength of about 15,000 to 25,000 psi, and impressive ductility and toughness, even in colder temperatures. Additionally, they offer good thermal and electrical conductivity.
