Beryllium Copper sheets and plates, typically made from alloy C17200, consist of about 1.8–2.0% beryllium, with the remainder being copper and trace elements. These materials boast impressive mechanical properties, including tensile strength reaching up to 200 ksi (1,400 MPa) after age hardening, along with high hardness and excellent fatigue and wear resistance. They also exhibit strong electrical conductivity (up to 60% IACS) and thermal conductivity. Beryllium Copper is non-magnetic, resistant to corrosion, and can endure extreme conditions.
