Beryllium Copper, often referred to as UNS C17200, is an alloy that contains 1.8–2.0% beryllium, with the rest being copper and some trace elements. This alloy is celebrated for its remarkable strength—reaching up to 200 ksi or 1,400 MPa after heat treatment—along with its non-magnetic properties and outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity. Beryllium Copper also boasts excellent fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability. Available in foil, sheet, and plate forms, it retains these impressive properties while allowing for high formability and tight tolerances.
