A286 sheet and plate is a high strength, corrosion resistant superalloy made primarily of steel, nickel and chromium, with additional materials such as titanium, molybdenum and aluminum It offers excellent mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength, creep resistance and high heat resistance oxidation resistance. The A286 can hold up to 1300°F (704°C) and is ideal for use in gas turbines, aircraft engines, and chemical processes. Its advantages include excellent fatigue resistance, ease of manufacture and excellent weldability.
